Currently our Department has 19 full-time teaching and academic staff who are active in research and have published extensively in reputable academic journals. Some faculty members are also very experienced in taking up consultation jobs initiated by the business community. The Department has a strong team of members who are committed to excellence in teaching, research and services. Our departmental faculty members have received the School of Business Award for Outstanding Performance respectively in all three areas, namely in Teaching, in Scholarly Works, and in Services for the year 2010.

The Department encourages and assists our students in expanding their learning experiences via different outside classroom activities including, but not limit to, participation in open universities competitions and overseas exchange programmes. With the generous support from our alumni, the Department has established in Hong Kong the first Investment Club which allows our students to manage a real money investment fund of over 1 million HK dollar. All these activities on top of our quality teaching are essential to prepare and train our students to be the future responsible leaders in the business community.
